Over the last 10 years we have touched the lives of more than 2,000 students from over 30 leading universities across the world. We have also supported over 70 nonprofits and social enterprises in 6 countries with more than 50,000 hours of pro-bono consulting support to help them more effectively and efficiently serve their communities. As we celebrate our 10th year anniversary, we are so grateful that you have joined us on our journey to work toward a more prosperous, empowered, and inclusive society for all.

MORE ABOUT THE MEETUP.
Emzingo actually turns 11 years old this year. In 2020, as the pandemic hit, we had to rapidly reinvent ourselves and continue to provide programs in virtual formats. Amidst the shock of the global pandemic and economic and social justice crises, it just didn't feel right to focus on celebrations. Although these challenges have not passed, conversations with alumni and other stakeholders have made it clear that Emzingo has a pretty special place in many people's lives and bringing you, our alumni, together would be a welcome, inspiring and refreshing opportunity during these difficult times.
So here is what we have in mind during each of the 2-hour blocks:
1. CONCEPTS: Traditionally, the Emzingo experience is "one and done." We want to change that and support you on your life long journey of personal and professional development, not be just a good memory from your time at school. With that in mind, we will share some ideas with you as part of an Emzingo update to kick things off.
2. CONNECTION: If we learned anything in 2020, it is that connecting and valuing each other as humans is the most important thing. We will host structured and unstructured networking for alumni to connect.
3. CALLING: What are you interested in discussing with other alumni? In the spirit of being "learner-centered" and participatory in our gatherings, Emzingo has set aside time for alumni-led conversations in which we'll ask YOU to offer to kickstart a breakout room on a topic of your choice.
